This is a direct company requirement for the post of Proofreader / Grammar Checker. This is a freelance work from home job. The selected candidate will check English articles, blog posts, website content, e-books, and short marketing materials for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence clarity. The company requires clean and error-free content before publishing.
The job involves reading content carefully and correcting mistakes using simple editing tools. You may also work on tasks similar to Content Writer / AI Content Editor and Google Docs Formatter. Attention to detail is very important.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibility is to review documents and fix grammar errors. You must correct spelling mistakes, remove repeated words, improve sentence structure, and ensure readability. You may also check articles prepared by roles like Product Review Writer or FAQ Writer.
Sometimes you will compare original drafts with edited versions. Basic formatting knowledge is required. No advanced degree is required, but strong English understanding is necessary.
Required Skills
Candidates must have good English grammar knowledge. You should know basic punctuation rules and sentence formation. Familiarity with tools like MS Word or Google Docs is helpful. Typing speed should be average.
If you have experience in jobs like Audio Transcription Worker or E-book Typing Worker, it will be beneficial but not mandatory.
