Job Description
This is a direct company requirement for a YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels Video Editor. The work is fully remote and you can work from home using your own laptop or PC. The selected candidate will edit short vertical videos for social media platforms such as YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and similar short-form content platforms.
The main role involves cutting raw footage, adding subtitles, background music, transitions and basic motion graphics. Videos are usually 15 to 60 seconds long. The company focuses on educational, motivational and informational content. Clear editing and fast delivery are important.
If you are already working as a Video Subtitle Creator or YouTube Thumbnail Designer, this job can be a good upgrade because short video editing has higher demand and better earning scope.
Responsibilities
- Edit short vertical videos (9:16 ratio).
- Add captions and subtitles clearly readable on mobile.
- Use simple transitions and smooth cuts.
- Add copyright-free music.
- Deliver videos on time.
- Follow content guidelines provided by company.
Required Skills
You must have basic PC skills and knowledge of editing software such as CapCut, VN Editor, Filmora, Premiere Pro or any similar tool. Advanced skills are not compulsory, but you must understand trimming, cutting, adding text overlays and exporting in HD format.
If you are a beginner, start by practicing with free footage. You can also work as a Caption Writer (Short Videos) or Social Media Post Creator to build understanding of short-form content.

Salary Details
